This is why, when we heard of Rosè for a Cure, we knew they were a perfect-fit partner for us.
What is Rosè for a Cure?
Rosè for a Cure was started in 2020 by a small family-owned distillery, Mastrogiannis Distillery, when they decided to donate the proceeds of their wine sales for an entire month directly to the family of a child with a life-threatening illness. After seeing the success of the campaign, they chose to continue their efforts by supporting a new child and family.
Meet Julia
This year, Rosè for a Cure is supporting Julia Magdei, a local High School Junior who was unexpectedly diagnosed with AVM after suffering a brain hemorrhage last September. As Julia recovers from her brain hemorrhage, a long journey with a huge financial impact lies ahead of her. Her family expects “more surgeries, medical procedures, medications, medical equipment, continued nursing care, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy and modifications to her home and life for her to be able to start to return to a life she can sustain.”
